Shark Tooth Hunting and Carderock

We went shark tooth hunting again. This time it was very sunny and windy. The little boys were happy to just sit and play in the sand, finding lady bugs. They love the fort that Brandon made (it still stands weeks after he made it). Maddox found a tiny turtle and we all took turns holding it. It was really cute. The next day, it was overcast. Aaron wanted to show the kids Chantilly, Virginia (where he grew up). We saw all of his schools, his neighborhood, and his yellow boyhood home. We went to Carderock, on the Potomac River and hiked along it. We found a toad and slugs along the way (thankfully no snakes). We ended by walking along the C & O Canal, watching the wildlife.
