Memorial Day Weekend in North Carolina

We took a trip to North Carolina to visit Uncle Eric and Aunt Melinda for Memorial Day Weekend. Things in North Carolina are much more open than Maryland since coronavirus lock down is fizzling out a bit. We stayed at their house for a night, then headed to Carolina Beach with Jacob for the weekend. Eric, Melinda and Olivia met up with us Saturday at Kure Beach. We had so much fun playing in the waves, building sand castles, boogie boarding, collecting shells, playing beach games, swimming in the pool (the kids' highlight of the trip) and catching frogs. They caught a few that were in the pool/pool area. Rex even caught one by himself! "Oh my! Oh my! Oh my! I caught a FWOG!" His excitement was the cutest thing in his 4 year old voice. It was such a great weekend! Now, to just find a Aaron a job there so we can move to amazing North Carolina!
