Christmas, Maddox's Blessing and New Years

We had a fabulous Christmas at our house! All of Aaron's brothers and sisters came to town to spend the holidays with their parents (they got back in November from their 2 year mission in Japan).
On Christmas Eve, we had the traditional Poulton shrimp gumbo and the grand kids acted out the nativity. Here, Chantilly is sitting on her favorite cousin's lap, Jon. She loves him so much!
On Christmas Day, Aaron let me sleep in until 10am and he took care of the kids. You forget how tiring it is getting up in the middle of the night with a newborn! Chantilly got a pink Care bear for Christmas that we got for free and that was it! She didn't mind!
This is what Maddox looked like most of the day! We didn't buy him any presents and he didn't mind either! Our two babies in their Christmas pajamas, courtesy of Oma, of course!
For Christmas dinner, we went to Aaron's sister's house for a delicious turkey dinner! You can't tell in the picture, but Chantilly tripped and fell into Maddox's bouncer and got a big black eye! Ouch!
Maddox just hanging out in his Santa jammies! On the Sunday following Christmas, baby Maddox was blessed by his daddy. All of Aaron's brothers and brothers-in-law were there to participate. We didn't have a chance to get any pictures in his super cute white blessing suit, but he looked so adorable! In February, we are planning on taking pictures in his suit. For New Years, we went to Jenn's house for a little party! Chantilly was dressed to impress in her party outfit, courtesy of Oma! She is looking good and ready to start 2010! Too bad we didn't stay up until midnight!
