Vaccinations

Yesterday, we had Chantilly's 2 month checkup (only a few weeks late). The appointment went well. She is healthy and growing great. She weighs 12.2 lbs and is 24 inches long. Measuring was the fun part! Next came the shots! She got an oral vaccine along with 3 shots in her cute little baby legs. Ouch!!! She was very upset. We had never heard that angry/pain cry before! It made us so sad, but knew the vaccines would benefit her. To make her feel better, we went over to Giant (grocery store) to grab some ding dongs (Aaron's idea)! She was so exhausted, she took a 4 hr nap. She woke up with a bright red swollen leg where a shot was received. Ahhh! It was so tender and painful for her. A call to Oma, some Tylenol, and a warm bath made us all feel better! By the next morning, she was the old, happy Chantilly!
