The long road to Virginia
Two days after we got back from Christmas vacation, we started the long road trip to Virginia. Aaron was able to get an internship in there to fulfill his last few credits to graduate from Utah Valley University. Virginia, here we come!
Aaron drove 99% of the time! No tickets, no accidents! This picture is in Wyoming!
I sat next to our precious Chantilly during the whole trip. She did great! Tilly slept 99% of the time!
After a little blowup in Chantilly's diaper, we had to pull off a middle-of-nowhere exit in the nothingness of Kansas and do a quick diaper and outfit change in the car.
Daddy and Tilly after the blowout!
We stopped in Columbia, Missouri at Aaron's sister Camarie's house and stayed 2 nights. I finally got to meet her husband Matt. We went on a double date to see the movie Yes, Man, Chantilly's first full theater movie. She didn't make a peep! We also stopped in Ohio at his brother Josh's house for the next night and spent time with his family.
Getting a little sick of the car seat! She did so good!
After 5 days, we finally made to Aaron's brother Eric's home, where we will be living the next few months! It was a long trip, my bum is still a little numb from sitting for so long. The greatest thing about it was the gas total was $212.50 from Utah to Virginia! Awesome!
