Easter 2019

We celebrated Easter without Aaron this year because we drove him early this morning to the airport. Each kid had 3 things in each Easter basket, 2 Cadbury eggs and one chocolate bunny and they were perfectly happy and grateful. The kids loved eating and smashing them. We watched Nacho Libre because that's an Easter movie, right? "Don't you know I've had diarrheas since Easters!" For dinner we headed to Gpa and Gma Poulton's for lamb and ham and to celebrate a few birthdays. There were too many dishes to wash and not enough Aaron there, but it turned out good with a quick egg hunt in the basement due to wet weather. Despite that, the day was to celebrate our Christ's resurrection. I loved telling the little boys how he died but because he was resurrected He Lives! They were so excited and surprised to hear that. He lives! And because He Lives, we can live again too after we die and we can be together as a family! What a beautiful gift because I love this family more than anything in the world!
