Aaron's Birthday Getaway/Best Weekend Ever!

Happy 35 to our Daddy, Aaron! All he wanted for his birthday was to sleep in and go to the beach. And that actually happened for him! We took Griff with us (so not much sleeping in happened) on a 48 hour getaway to Southern California. We stayed in Marina del Rey and played at Venice Beach both days. The beach was amazing! Shockingly warm that we actually played in the waves! It was so much fun! We had to hit up Cheesecake Factory, of course (2 times)! Our Griffy boy loved the sand and even went in the water with us! We played in the pool, ate some good food, rented some bikes and biked along Muscle Beach, collected shells for the big kids, and played in the waves some, walked Santa Monica pier, met a nice old man, ate a funnel cake, and ate dinner with Aaron's old friend, Blake Lapham in Woodland Hills. It was the perfect weekend and it wasn't even my birthday! How lucky am I? Very lucky to have this man by my side! Only manly men can pull off pink diaper bags!
