Christmas 2017

We had an enjoyable Christmas this year. We started out by going to the movies and seeing Star Wars: The Last Jedi.  Aaron had already seen it twice, so he was on Rex duty. We enjoyed it and shoved lots of popcorn and candy in our mouths. We passed out Martinelli's to our neighbors and the kids fought over who got to walk it to the door each time. Thankfully, we had no smashed fingers in car doors like last year (poor Travis)! We went to sacrament on Christmas Eve, then headed to the grandparents for a Bethlehem dinner on the floor in the basement, followed by a Christmas story from Grandma in her getup. The kids performed the nativity with Chantilly as Mary, Griffin as baby Jesus, Travis as a shepherd, Crue as an angel, Maddox as Joseph and Rex a spectator. Next, we cleaned up and opened our traditional Christmas jammies. We headed home very late and slept all night! We woke up to a white Christmas (the only thing Mom wanted). It was beautiful outside! We enjoyed exchanging gifts and playing with our new things, eating candy and just hanging out. After, we headed back to the grandparents to do dinner together. We had a great Christmas. Family time was the greatest!
