Try Hockey for Free

Chantilly, Maddox and Travis got to try hockey for free! Travis was nervous because he didn't know how to skate. By the end, however, he got so much better. He was even able to move the hockey puck and hit it while staying on his feet. I was very proud of how brave he was and that he didn't give up, even after falling on his bum so many times. Tilly and Maddox got to do a little scrimmage. They've been roller blading maniacs the last month, so they had a little more experience skating. Tilly accidentally hit Maddox in the eye with her stick and gave him a nice little slice. But after shaking it off and wiping away the blood,  he got back out there to finish. He now claims that all he wants for his birthday is to be signed up for hockey! We'll see, bud! I love that our kids are so willing to try new things! It such an amazing trait to have. Our kids are awesome!
