The 4th of July

We continued our 4th of July tradition with the neighborhood parade and pancake breakfast, Colonial Days Festival in Orem and swimming at the Scera Pool. The kids got some sweet facial paint at the breakfast and stuffed their faces with all the sweets they had to offer. After, we headed to Colonial Days, but we didn't last long this year because it was so hot and the water was calling to us. We swam all day long and it sure felt good in the heat. Rexy was pooped, so he took a little nap in the nude! Look at those cute little buns! After swimming, we headed to the Carrs for a BBQ and fireworks. We celebrated Aaron's birthday, as well! We didn't last long for fireworks because of 2 little terrified, tired boys. But we sure had a great day having fun as a family and celebrating the nation's independence!
