St George for Andrew's Baptism

We headed to St George for a quick weekend trip to attend cousin Andrew Warby's baptism. We rented a 3 bedroom condo from Aaron's cousin and loved the space, view, and pool during our stay. Alicia hitched a ride and stayed a night with us. Aaron, Maddox and Tilly got up early to do 9 holes of golf before it became unbearably hot. We saw them from our balcony and met them down at the 9th hole that was right outside. We played in the pool 3 times that day because what else do you do when it is 116 degrees outside? Nothing, maybe a movie. After swimming with the Warby cousins, we headed to the baptism and to their home after. Maddox stayed for a sleepover and the rest of us swam again in the dark. The next morning as we were headed out to load the car and attend church, we discovered thousands of small ants in our van! We parked a little too close to a rosebush and they invaded our car, eating everything in sight: chocolate whoppers, a half eaten cheeseburger, skittles, you name it! It was so gross! And yes, we are gross too apparently because that all landed on the floor over the last 2 days. All we could find in the condo to spray was Windex, so we windexed the heck out of them. And yes, it does kill ants! On our drive home, we'd have an occasional ant crawl on us, into noses, our mouths, up our leg. We were kind of used to it after a while. It was disgusting to say the least. That night we took EVERYTHING out of the car, sprayed them and vacuumed all the crap up! The ants are gone, but we had a great time and a great memory we won't ever forget!
