Homeschooling at it's finest...

We drove up AF Canyon to Tibblefork Reservoir for a little outing with the beautiful weather we have had. Aaron is starting a new job in a few days, so we took advantage of the couple days he had off in between changes.

After we went on a little walk around the lake, we drove to a picnic area nearby to build a fire and play some more!

Aaron taught the kids how to use an ax and a multi-tool. They loved that!!!

 The boys especially loved carving sticks and using their new tools!

 We had to roast marshmallows on the fire, of course!

 Travis was soaking wet and freezing by the time we left, so we stripped him down to his underwear to warm him up. Can you believe this ginormous kid is only 3?

 And of course Maddox had to pee and couldn't hold it, so he jumped out to do it for all to see!

We got some Macey's cones and hot chocolate after to top off the amazing day!
