Soccer, Biking, Ice Skating and Valentine's Day
Today was an awesome day! The weather was 50 degrees, soooooo warm :-)!!! Maddox insisted on wearing shorts, but he does that anyways even if it's 5 degrees outside! We got some exercise in! We played soccer! Tilly and I passed the ball back and forth and it is so cool to see how much better she has gotten since the summer! I was even teaching her how to obstruct another player with her booty!
They whipped out their soccer gear they have never gotten to use, hand-me-down shark cleats and Ross shinguards!
We even went for a walk and Tilly tested out the bike she got for her birthday. She is working on getting a hang of it because it is taller than her old bike, but she does great on her 2-wheeler, as does Travis!
For Valentine's Day, after getting 4 positive consequences this week, we took Tilly and Maddox ice skating! Travis got to stay with a babysitter. We watched the Olympic ice skating on TV and the kids were begging to go. So, they worked hard earning good consequences and we got to go on V Day!
By the end of it, they got so much better with their balance on the ice. We even rented ice walkers and they were sprinting around the ice with them, having a blast ramming each other and the walls and racing. They were hilarious to watch!
After ice skating, we picked up Travis and headed to dinner as a family! Aaron and I even got each other very romantic Valentine's Day gifts: a new toilet and a new shower head. It doesn't get much more romantic than that!
