St. George
For Spring Break, we headed to St George to meet up with Renee and Tom's families. We rented an awesome townhome with a sweet pool and hot tub and explored St George. We watched some epic movies (Hunt for the Wilder People and JoJo Rabbit) and made fun memories with family. Day One, we headed to Snow Canyon State Park and hiked all over the petrified dunes. Maddox loved being able to go off and blaze his own trail. We also hiked an overlook to get a nice view of the "big" city. We spent a day at Sand Hollow Reservoir and sand dunes. We played in the lake and road in side-by-sides all day. We have some daredevil drivers and riders in this family! The wind picked up out of nowhere as soon as Tilly, Renee, Forrest, and I hit the lake on our paddleboards. The wind quickly carried us way too far from shore in seconds. There was no getting back. Renee and I decided to head for the one and only boat on the whole lake. This nice family rescued us and Tilly and took us to the boat dock safely. It was very terrifying having 2 of my children out on the lake in such scary conditions, but we are blessed we were in life jackets and made it safe. Our last day we spent in Zions National Park hiking around and absorbing the beautiful scenery. Hopefully we can make this a yearly thing because it was so memorable spending time with my Little family.
