Bear Lake

Is there any place more fun than Bear Lake? Probably somewhere, but this weekend was magical for us. Blue waters and perfect weather topped with raspberry shakes made for a good two days. Travis was a good sport going on his birthday. We spent the night in Logan, went to a trampoline place and saw the Logan temple before heading back to the hotel pool for some swimming and cake eating. We got up "early" the next day and headed to Bear Lake. I say "early" because we don't really do anything early or quick in this household. We spent the day on the beach with very small crowds, throwing the ball around, playing in the water and rolling in the sand. We ate some yummy local food and famous raspberry shakes before we headed home late that night. Trips are a lot of work with 7 kids in tow, but they are so memorable and worth the effort. I am so lucky to have all these people in my life.
