Labor Day at Starvation Reservoir
For Labor Day, we went camping at Starvation Reservoir, east of SLC, next to Duchesne. This was a new place to us and we loved it so much! We will definitely be heading back. We brought all of our kayaks and all our crap in our van. We were loaded to the brim! We headed to CamperWorld, set up camp and explored, finding lizards and scorpions. We loved spending 2 days playing at the lake, kayaking, swimming, and playing the sand/mud. It was especially amusing watching the many vehicles get stuck in the mud and have to figure a way to get hauled out. Team work is a beautiful thing. Aaron bought everyone fishing poles. Crue and Rex LOVED fishing and catching a fish every time (good purchase Aaron). We invited our across the street neighbors, the Mosleys, to join us. Cole and Crue are BFF's. It was so fun to get to know them better and just hang out at the campfire after kids were asleep. It was a beautiful weekend, filled with nature and we loved it so much. Starvation Reservoir is a must!
