The Entrepreneurs

Our kids have really enjoyed doing bake sales and lemonade stands this summer. Tilly got a chance to attend the Children's Entrepreneur Market with Emily Andrew and Kamryn Seamons and they earned $10 each selling cupcakes they made and decorated together. Maddox really wanted to earn money too. So we came up with the idea to make homemade root beer and sell it. It was our first time making it and it turned out shockingly great! It made quite the mess to make, hence the stirring of it outside and it ending up on the ground from the bubbling dry ice. He and Travis sold some Labor Day morning. "Never MT Homemade Root Beer" They earned $4 each! Not bad for selling soda for breakfast on a holiday! I love the drive our kids have and hope they look for more opportunities to earn some dough of their own!
