The Montes's and Oma Visit
We were lucky enough to have the Montes's and Oma come stay with us for the week. Renee and Sam attended BYU Education Week and we got to play with Oma and their girls, Lilly and Paulina. Finally some girl cousins! Tilly seems to be the only girl around these days, so it was a treat to have these 2 girls! We had a fun week!
To start it off, we experienced the awesome eclipse. It was so cool to feel the temperature difference and see what it looked like during the day with little sun. It felt like I viewing everything through sunglasses. We played Kubb outside, enjoying the 70 degree weather for an hour. The kids all enjoyed freedom, playing outside all week long. We went to the Dinosaur Museum during the week before heading up to Park City for Thursday and Friday. Sam got an amazing suite at the Marriott Mountainside Vacation Club. It was situated right next to the ski lift at the Park City Resort. It was beautiful weather and we LOVED the 6 hot tubs and pools! We spent hours there over 2 days. The Resort had fun activities for the kids, like pie eating contest, painting, Bingo! They even had a little movie theater and the kids enjoyed watching Moana that night.
The next day, after swimming, we wandered Main Street in Park City and got a treat. We also headed to Olympic Park and watching kids train for skiing, landing in the pool. We walked through the little museum there and a few of us even got to ride the lift. After Park City, we headed to Temple Square to see the sights.
On our final day together, Aaron and the kids, the Montes's and Grandpa Little attended the BYU Football opener against Portland State. It was HOT!!! But we won! We loved spending time with family and hope they make it a yearly tradition so we can hang out with them more!
