Moab!!!!!!!!!

We finally made it to Moab!
We're off!
It's a pretty quick 3 hr drive and went swimming after we checked in to our motel. The kids kept correcting me whenever I would say hotel! One day we'll stay in a hotel, kids.
We met our friends, the Seamons, down there.
After a short sleep, our first stop was Arches National Park.
Our first stop inside the park was Balanced Rock.
Next stop, The Windows and Turret Arch. These were my favorite! The kids loved running ahead and exploring!
 Turret Arch in the back
 This little explorer did awesome!
Way ahead of the prego and the littlest explorer.
Next stop, the famous Delicate Arch. We only hiked to the viewpoint. Maybe in a few years we'll do the real deal!
We left Arches and headed to this massive sand hill across the road from the park entrance.

Red sand everywhere!
At the tippy top
And sprinting down
About to eat sand!
Airborne!
We decided to cool off and shed the sand in our shorts and head to a waterhole. It ended up being way further and harder than we anticipated. Several tears were shed on the long way back, wading through the river and crawling over rocks.
Icy cold water!
Throwing rocks, who doesn't love doing that?

The top of the waterfall
After some food, we headed back to the motel to get some shut eye!
The next day, we went back into Arches to explore more Arches.
 Sand Dune Arch
 More sand to play in!
Broken Arch and Travis' new BFF (Matt from New Zealand) he met at the arch.
Last stop of the trip, Double Arch
These arches are all so amazing. We love the landscape. It is an incredible creation.
Maddox found a lizard and picked it up by the tail and it ripped right off into his hand. and slowly crawled away. Poor lizard.
We will definitely be heading back to Moab!
