San Diego

For Memorial Day weekend, we decided to head down to sunny San Diego and visit Renee, Sam, and baby Lilly. We were already heading to California to stay for a few weeks while Aaron did his military training. We made a quick stop at Zach and Brooke's home in Las Vegas. We went to one of the biggest tourist spots in Vegas! Bigger than the strip! We went to.......Fry's Electronics! So cool...for Aaron and Zach maybe! The coolest part about it was seeing the airplanes flying overhead. Whatever though. We got to hang out with our friends! We miss you guys! Move back to Utah!
After two days of driving, we finally made it to San Diego! We stayed in the hotel on the Marine Base in Miramar! Staying in a hotel always make me feel like I'm on a real vacation! We met up with the Montes' at the Padres game downtown! Chantilly had so much fun on the lawn running around, so happy to be out of her car seat!

Back at our hotel was the coolest playground! You can see our hotel in the background! The kiddies had a blast!

Next, we met up with Sam and heads to Coronado Beach! Beautiful! Tilly was not a huge fan of the sand! But once she touched the water we couldn't get her away from it! It was freezing cold, but she loved!

We also went swimming at Renee's pool a lot! We had a yummy barbecue and the babies loved the hot tub!

We hit up the San Diego Zoo! I heard it was big, but words cannot describe how huge it is! It is massive! You could be in there for 2 days and not see everything! Our favorite animals were the elephants!

We had the best time in San Diego! It was nice to have a little family vacation away from home! We love San Diego! Maybe we will have to start searching for jobs there!
